Eduardo

LAMDA

You come in as A and you will leave as B, if, you do the work". I came in wanting to be the best actor I could be, but I left with a stronger version of who I am and what I have to offer. These two years have changed me. FONACT gave me the space to explore who I really am, not only as an actor, but as a human being. To accept what I'm really feeling, but to always keep going. If I was sad, good, cry, but then find the joy. If I was mad, good, use it and see where it goes. If I was heartbroken, amazing, be thankful because your art will expand. This is just a normal day at FONACT and I will miss them dearly.

Elyssia

Royal Academy of Music & Dramatic Art

Anything I say about fonact won’t do it justice, but it has been by far the most incredible experience of my life. The work you do at fonact is magical and is fuelled by Laurent’s passion, dedication and compassion. You can’t help but fall in love with the work and grow in a fonact ensemble. I wouldn’t be half the woman or actor I am without them let alone have been offered a place at RADA and I have no doubt I will work with the courage and integrity fonact helped me find for the rest of my life. If you’re ready to them give your all, fonact will help you fly

Pria

Laurent has created an incredibly unique haven where we are able to wholeheartedly embrace our authentic selves. Fonact’s nurturing yet challenging and immersive environment facilitates growth and development in the best possible way. The training has become an intrinsic element of who I am, for which I am tremendously grateful.

I consider myself very lucky and extremely proud to have been a part of something so special and feel capable and ready for anything thanks to Fonact. I will walk into the rest of my life with open arms. Thank you for the game, the joy, the laughter and the excitement

Anna

Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Fonact was without a doubt the best and most formative year of my life so far. I learnt to play and be free in the work, and how to take my space and be bold. I continue to learn new things from what I was taught at Fonact every single day, the training really does stay with you in your bones. The school is based on a steadfast sense of ensemble, and I will never forget the beautiful and outrageous people I’m blessed to call friends for life and the work we created together. Thank you Fonact, I owe you everything

Kseniia

Central School of Speech and Drama

Studying at Fonact has been eye-opening. Fonact teaches to accept imperfection and pushes students to try new and challenging things. The course taught me to be brave and free. The ensemble work is remarkable, and all the teachers are very honest and filled with care, which creates a truly family-like environment. I am forever grateful to Fonact for the experiences I have had, people I have met and the person I have become.

Millie

Guildhall School of Music & Drama

My time at Fonact will not be forgotten. Throughout the training I learnt so much about myself not just as an actor but as a person. Working with Laurent and the amazing team is freeing, his passion is infectious and it encourages you to grow. I will miss my Fonact family, but am forever thankful to everyone who was part of my journey as I look forward to my training at Guildhall.

Maia

Yale School of Drama

With Spanish as my first language, I chose Fonact because of it's reputation as an open and diverse community.  It was the first acting course I had ever done and the moment I arrived to Fontainebleau I felt at home. The ensemble training takes you outside of yourself and your group becomes a family. In particular, the training make auditions feel like just another day in class.

My 2 years at Fonact were integral to being accepted into Yale Drama School, which I never thought possible. I still think of FonAct as home, and can't wait to return in the future.

Lucy

Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Fonact taught me how to play, explore, reinvent and be brave in the space - skills I will carry with me for my entire career. The work we explored helped me to discover how I work, which allowed me to take the pressure off and be as free as possible in my auditions. I will be forever grateful to everyone I met and had the pleasure of working with at Fonact.

Victor

American Academy of Dramatic Art

Incomparable. That is a word I feel can justifiably be used for the journey I experienced at FonAct. When combining such high level of training with the invigorating environments of Fontainebleau and an ensemble of likeminded artists, I feel what this school offers is an incomparable opportunity for actors who are willing to grow.

Elizabeth

Royal Conservatoire of Liège

The Fontainebleau School of Acting has helped me a lot for my audition at the Royal Conservatoire de Liege. They give you confidence to go beyond your limits, always try and go further each time. The spirit of the ensemble is a mixture of joy, fun and trust where everyone is positive and committed.

Dave

Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Fonact was an incredibly transformative and positive experience for me. The training within an ensemble pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of and enabled me to take risks within a safe space. The programme is rigorous, thorough and rewarding and is without a doubt the reason I secured a place at a top drama school.
